In 1999 we came to Wynnstay House having always worked in the Hotel and Hospitality industry and decided we wanted to use our skills and experience to offer guests a special stay in Harrogate.

At Wynnstay House we believe we provide "Simple Quality". We are a family run B&B with a home from home ambience yet our past experience gives you a professional and slick service. After so many years, our visitors return to us time after time and you can read some of their comments via our Home Page.

Decorated with period furniture our five rooms are all ensuite and beautifully designed for a comfortable stay. Our passion for visiting many of Britain's ruined castles gives each of the rooms it's name!

Cleanliness is of paramount importance to us and the AA inspectors comments have proved this "All areas are polished to a shine" "Breakfast and cleanliness are clear strengths at Wynnstay House"

Centrally located to the town and Conference Centre you are only ever a stroll from where you need to be and we are always happy to help advise on restaurants, give directions or suggest places to visit.

Our menu is second to none with an extensive choice of locally sourced produce - as members of Deliciously Yorkshire we offer some scrumptious dishes to start your day - view the menu here.

Just around the corner we also have a 2 bedroomed self catering cottage, the Middleham - ideal for larger groups needing more than our five rooms, families, or those simply looking for more space for your stay.
